I’m so excited that I can finally say that I'm in Vienna. First week has been impressive and full of new emotions.
When I arrive to the airport Christi, Ana, July and Julius were waiting for me. Then we went to July’s home (Harry Potter´s Home) to have a coffee and chat. Next day it was time for get to know Vienna and its most beautiful corners.
On Monday we had a meeting in the Kinderfreunde office together with the project heads. We were talking about expectations, ways of communication, support… It was really good finally to meet the Kinderfreunde Team.
During the rest of the week it was time to start working on two different kindergartens with Fanny. It was really good, we played and had fun with very nice children. To finish the week, we had an amazing arrival training in which we met a lot of fantastic people who are volunteering in Austria as well.
Even being first week here I’m feeling really well within the working team, I have the freedom to organize activities and giving my ideas I’m really enjoying a lot.
